On 2nd February 2017, SPHEREA acquired Noise XT, specialist in high spectral purity hyper frequency and radio signal synthesis and generation.
With the takeover of Noise XT, SPHEREA again moved ahead with the Group’s plan to develop high-performance components in a fine-tuned, fully-controlled technological setting. As it joins the Group, Noise XT effectively broadens SPHEREA’s technological offering in hyper frequency for critical-system testing and simulation. The acquisition follows in the footsteps of SPHEREA’s 2015 takeover of Puissance Plus, which boosted the Group’s capacity in power electronics.
SPHEREA is continuing to support customers all over the world in a field experiencing significant upheaval because of changes to standards impacting the aeronautical, rail and energy sectors, against a backdrop of major disruptive innovation affecting defence, the space industry and manufacturing.
“This latest acquisition is part of the strategic changes that SPHEREA has planned leading up to 2020. Our company now has 600 customers located in 50 different countries. Our goal is to support them in the development and deployment of their complex, highly technological systems by optimising value creation.” Christian Dabasse, CEO and President of SPHEREA.
On the strength of 25 years innovating in very low phase noise frequency synthesis and in high-precision measuring instruments, Noise XT provides solutions that are specially designed for high spectral purity testing.
This high-technology company is based in Elancourt, France, and designs, develops, manufactures and commercialises solutions for telecommunications, defence, space and metrology markets.
