OLISE is a leading edge portable optronic test system which can be used in a field or laboratory environment. It has many applications including critical GO/NO GO testing for military field operations.

Test Versatility

OLISE tests small optronic systems (pupil exit width < 90 mm) in the visible, infrared (MWIR and LWIR) and laser ranges, for example:

  • Laser designators and rangefinders.
  • Portable multi-sensor thermal imagers
  • Night vision binoculars
  • Drone pods

 

Verification, Validation and Calibration

OLISE can also be used for:

  • Verification, validation and calibration after repair
  • Production-stage validation for small production runs, OLISE generates all the data required to formulate a report on a range of optronic equipment.

 

Field Testing

OLISE can be used for the GO/NOGO test directly in the field, reducing maintenance and repair costs by avoiding the additional costs linked with No Fault Found (NFF) such as:

  • Return of NFF items for maintenance to manufacturer
  • Logistical costs associated with return to manufacturer.
  • Spare equipment costs.

Binocular kit

The binocular kit guarantees perfect positioning of the tested thermal imager, laser rangefinder or night-vision binoculars opposite the OLISE collimator, thereby allowing the automated and reproducible testing of series of optronic equipment items.

Flight line test kit

OLISE Flight Line test kit

The flight line test kit has been specially designed to test and perform harmonisation tasks on any optronic payload carried by a plane, helicopter or drone, whether on the tarmac or in a hangar. A telescopic tunnel confines the laser beam and guarantees the safety of the personnel working on the optronic pod. A kit incorporating a hexapod allows high-precision positioning and measurements.
