There are two types of SPHEREA optical test bench:
- Autonomous, to meet very specific needs,
- Combined with a versatile bench, to enable multiple-system testing.
They are used in all life-cycle phases for optronics equipment:
- in design to qualify performance,
- in integration to validate operation,
- in production to validate the manufacturing process,
- in operation to diagnose failures or calibrate the equipment.
They are intended to be used in difficult environments, where a high level of system availability is required.
They can be used in fixed workshops but also be sent to external theatres of operations.
