There are two types of SPHEREA optical test bench:

• Autonomous, to meet very specific needs,
• Combined with a versatile bench, to enable multiple-system testing.

They are used in all life-cycle phases for optronics equipment:

• in design to qualify performance,
• in integration to validate operation,
• in production to validate the manufacturing process,
• in operation to diagnose failures or calibrate the equipment.

They are intended to be used in difficult environments, where a high level of system availability is required.
They can be used in fixed workshops but also be sent to external theatres of operations.
